All classes are divided as follows: the first 20 minutes are devoted to health education followed by a cooking class to support what was discussed earlier, followed by enjoying the delicious food demonstrated by Shahnaz (French wine offered by Christian).

Subject: Healing With Spices

Here’s how to rack up the benefits.In this class you will learn timeless wisdom for total Vitality. You will also learn how to incorporate spices in you day to day to enhance the taste and quality of your food  as you help support your body’s ability to heal itself. This class will include an understanding of the healing benefits of spices, demo and tasting of Indian cuisine prepared in a simple ways.

Subject: Meditation and its benefits
Research show that meditation helps reduce stress, improves concentration, reduces anxiety, slows aging and helps with cardiovascular and immune health.Understand the benefits of meditation as you learn simple easy techniques to start a gentle practice. Class includes a food demo and tasting of foods that help increase your energy levels. You will also experience a short guided meditation.

Subject: Breakfast
Do you find yourself gravitating to the bag of salty chips or making Ben and Jerry’s your constant companion? If so this class may be for you. Breakfast
has been voted as the most important meal of the day for energy and weight loss.  If you find yourself struggling with healthy ideas for your morning meal, then this class is right for you. Come join this interactive fun session and learn how to make balanced, delicious, breakfast dishes with 3 easy to follow recipes.   Dishes include vegan omelets, quinoa options plus a breakfast smoothie.  Sip on some herbal tea while you watch Shahnaz prepare these wonderful breakfast options then taste her creations.

Subject: Essential Oils
Essential oils can have a healing effect mentally, physically, and emotionally. In this fun, interactive class you will learn how to incorporate therapeutic grade essential oils to support your body and assist in the healing process. Class will include an understanding of how essential oils work and their application. You will  experience 7 different essential oils and learn how and when to use them.
We will prepare a meal using these oils that you can learn and taste. A free gift of a face mask will be offered.
